Blog is short for weblog. A weblog is a journal (or newsletter) that is frequently updated and intended for general public consumption. Blogs generally represent the personality of the author or the Web site. And guess what ? Orkut has finally launched its blog to keep the users informed about the latest buzz in the network. Although the first post was posted on June25, 2007 but today only users have a link to What's New on the left top of the page.

I personally feel that Orkut stands no chance against Facebook... and these are desperate attempts by orkut to maintain its existing users...
